Christine Taylor BA, ERYT, CYT – Christine was drawn to Yoga 15 years ago for a form of physical exercise.   After a few months she realized the peace and harmony she felt in her body.  She is a graduate of the Prana Vinyasa ® School of Yoga which deeply focuses on Yoga as Therapy.  She has studied with Sara Devi, Sean Corn, Manju Jois, Bryan Kest, Johnny Kest, Vaz Rogbeck, and Doug Swenson. Christine believes that yoga is for everyone.  “Our breath is a gift. By utilizing the breath and performing postures (asanas), one can bring balance and harmony to the mind and body”’   She is honored to share her love for the practice with others through her teachings.  

Christine has taught Yoga to a diverse population of all ages throughout the Tampa Bay area.  She has volunteered at the Center for Aging & Retirement Services (CARES) and local high school groups and athletic teams.   She has worked with dental offices to help prevent common dental injuries and stress in the workplace.  Christine has also trained dancers and has choreographed yoga fusion performances.

Currently, Christine is an instructor with the Prana Vinyasa ® Radiant Transitions Teacher Training Program. She teaches both private and group lessons at Dance Arts Center in Lutz,FL and Prana Vinyasa ® Yoga in Tampa.   With Christine’s creative flows set to music, students can expect to laugh, smile and sweat.  She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and a Member of the International Association for Yoga Therapists.  

Christine is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
